Seller Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Seller Terms and Conditions govern your use of Dripscan as a seller. By registering as a seller on Dripscan, you agree to these terms in addition to our general Terms and Conditions.
Dripscan is a marketplace platform that connects independent fashion and beauty brands with customers. We provide the platform; you provide the products and fulfil orders.
2. Seller Eligibility
To sell on Dripscan, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a legal resident of the United Kingdom or have a registered UK business
- Have the legal right to sell the products you list
- Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations
- Provide accurate business and tax information
3. Seller Plans & Fees
3.1 Subscription Plans
Dripscan offers three seller plans:

Commission is calculated on the total sale price (excluding delivery charges) and is deducted before payout.
3.2 Payment Processing Fees
In addition to Dripscan commission, payment processors charge:
- Stripe: 1.4% + 20p per transaction (UK cards)
- PayPal: 1.9% + 30p per transaction
These fees are deducted from your payout automatically.
3.3 Fee Avoidance
Any action to avoid paying fees is strictly prohibited, including:
- Directing buyers to purchase outside of Dripscan
- Inflating shipping costs to reduce commission
- Creating duplicate accounts
Violations may result in account suspension and forfeiture of pending payouts.
4. Product Listings
4.1 Listing Requirements
All product listings must:
- Accurately describe the item (materials, dimensions, condition)
- Include clear, original photos of the actual product
- Display correct pricing including any applicable VAT
- State accurate processing and delivery times
- Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy
4.2 Prohibited Items
You may not sell:
- Counterfeit or replica items
- Stolen goods
- Items that infringe intellectual property rights
- Dangerous or illegal items
- Adult content
- Weapons or weapon accessories
- Drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Items that violate UK trading standards
Dripscan reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms.
5. Orders & Fulfilment
5.1 Order Processing
When you receive an order, you must:
- Acknowledge the order within 24 hours
- Dispatch within the timeframe stated in your listing
- Provide tracking information where available
- Package items securely and professionally
5.2 Shipping
You are responsible for:
- Setting accurate shipping rates and delivery times
- Shipping to the address provided
- Items lost or damaged in transit (we recommend insurance)

5.3 Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order:
- Contact the buyer immediately with an explanation
- Process a full refund within 24 hours
- Excessive cancellations may affect your seller rating
6. Payments & Payouts
6.1 Payment Processing
Dripscan processes payments on your behalf through Stripe and PayPal. Buyer payments are held until the order is marked as dispatched.
6.2 Payout Schedule
Payouts are processed weekly (every Monday) for orders dispatched in the previous week. Funds typically arrive within 2-3 business days.
6.3 Minimum Payout
The minimum payout threshold is £10. Balances below this will roll over to the next payout period.
6.4 Reserves
Dripscan may hold a percentage of your earnings in reserve if:
- Your account has a high dispute rate
- You are a new seller (first 30 days)
- We identify unusual activity
7. Returns & Refunds
7.1 Your Obligations
You must:
- Accept returns in accordance with UK Consumer Rights (14 days minimum)
- Respond to return requests within 48 hours
- Process refunds within 5 business days of receiving returned items
- Cover return shipping costs for faulty or misdescribed items
7.2 Disputes
If a buyer escalates a dispute to Dripscan:
- You will be notified and given 48 hours to respond
- Dripscan will review evidence from both parties
- We may issue a refund from your pending balance if you are found in violation
8. Seller Standards
To maintain a good standing on Dripscan, you should aim for:
- Response time: Reply to messages within 24 hours
- Dispatch time: Ship within your stated timeframe
- Order issues: Less than 3% of orders with problems
- Rating: Maintain 4+ star average
Sellers who consistently fall below these standards may have their accounts reviewed or suspended.
9. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your product images and descriptions. By listing on Dripscan, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use your content for:
- Displaying on our website and app
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Social media
This licence continues for existing materials even if you close your shop.
10. Account Suspension & Termination
10.1 Suspension
We may suspend your account for:
- Violating these terms or our policies
- High dispute rate or poor seller metrics
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Legal requirements
10.2 Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. You must fulfil all pending orders before your shop closes.
10.3 Upon Termination
When your account closes:
- Outstanding balances will be paid within 30 days
- Pending disputes may be resolved from held funds
- Your listings will be removed
11. Liability
You agree to indemnify Dripscan against any claims arising from:
- Products you sell
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your breach of any applicable laws
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of Dripscan after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
